Effective Date: February 24, 2026
Welcome to the BrightPath Bookkeeping LLC ("BrightPath Bookkeeping," "we," "us," or "our") website. By accessing or using our website at www.brightpathbookkeeping.com, or by engaging our bookkeeping services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
BrightPath Bookkeeping provides professional bookkeeping services for small businesses, including monthly bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll bookkeeping, and bookkeeping cleanup. All services are performed remotely using cloud-based tools, primarily QuickBooks Online.
Service scope, pricing, and timelines are determined on a per-client basis during a consultation and outlined in a separate service agreement before any work begins.
This website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate communication between BrightPath Bookkeeping and current or prospective clients. You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the site's functionality or security.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our prior written consent.
BrightPath Bookkeeping offers a free consultation as an introductory call to discuss your bookkeeping needs. Scheduling a consultation does not create a client relationship or obligate either party to enter into a service agreement. No bookkeeping work is performed during the consultation.
If you engage BrightPath Bookkeeping for services, you agree to:
Provide timely access to the financial records, bank statements, and business documents necessary for us to perform the agreed-upon services
Ensure the information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge
Maintain active subscriptions to any required third-party software (such as QuickBooks Online) as outlined in your service agreement
Communicate any changes to your business structure, accounts, or financial situation that may affect the scope of services
Payment terms, amounts, and schedules are outlined in the service agreement provided to each client before work begins. By engaging our services, you agree to the payment terms in your specific agreement.
Late payments may result in a pause of services until the account is brought current. BrightPath Bookkeeping reserves the right to discontinue services for accounts that remain unpaid beyond the timeframe specified in the service agreement.
We take your privacy seriously. BrightPath Bookkeeping treats all client information as confidential and will not share, sell, or disclose your financial records or personal information to any third party except as necessary to provide the agreed-upon services or as required by law.
For a detailed explanation of how we handle personal and business information, please review our Privacy Policy.
BrightPath Bookkeeping provides bookkeeping services — not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advisory services. We do not prepare tax returns, provide tax advice, or offer guidance on legal or investment matters. Clients are responsible for consulting with a licensed CPA, tax professional, or attorney for those needs.
While we take every reasonable measure to ensure accuracy, BrightPath Bookkeeping is not liable for errors or omissions resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or untimely information provided by the client. Our liability for any claim arising from the services we provide is limited to the total fees paid by the client for the specific services in question during the most recent billing period.
Either party may terminate the service relationship with written notice as outlined in the service agreement. Upon termination, BrightPath Bookkeeping will complete any work in progress through the end of the current billing period (unless otherwise agreed) and provide the client with access to their financial records.
Outstanding balances remain due upon termination regardless of the reason for ending services.
